Brandi Bird is available for freelance writing, editing and sensitivity reading. They are also available to hire for workshop opportunities online and in the Greater Vancouver Area.

Brandi has edited for Rahila’s Ghost Press including Natalie Lim’s Arrhythmia and Jane Shi’s Leaving Chang’e on Read. They provided manuscript consultations for Emily Riddle’s The Big Melt and Selina Boan’s Undoing Hours as well as first read for Jessica Johns’ Bad Cree.

Brandi also worked for Kwantlen Polytechnic University as the Spring 2023 Indigenous Writer-in-Residence where they gave writing workshops and regularly consulted with students, staff and faculty on their original fiction, poetry and creative non-fiction.
